A signed and framed limited edition wall sculpture created by contemporary artist Nic Joly, as part of the Art Life Football collection which pays homage to the legendary football player Pelé, and celebrates his 75th birthday.
On this piece, Nic Joly says: "Pelé has inspired so many people in his time. In this piece we can see the small child standing at the bottom of the Favela/mountain, looking up at the inspiration that Pelé is, and seeing that anything is possible with hard work and practise. This child can also be read as a young Pelé looking up and dreaming of getting to the top, having been brought up in poverty in Bauru. He then went on to scale the heights, reaching the summit of excellence and becoming the best of the best."
